Senior Technician

We are looking for an experienced Senior Security Technician to run projects from start to finish and provide customer support.

Responsibilities:

· Installation of CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion systems and devices; service and maintenance as required (e.g. wiring, installing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting)

· Support, lead, and mentor team members

· Design systems and layout

· Provide customers with systems training, and respond to technical inquiries

· Maintain a high level of safety and professionalism

· Complete detailed and accurate documents

· Perform other tasks as required

· Lead projects at a site level,

· The individual filling this role must be comfortable with travelling within the greater Edmonton area and beyond.

· The individual filling this role must be comfortable working in a safety sensitive environment and have a safety first mindset.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of three(3) to five(5) years’ experience with integrated security systems

· Able to work independently – self starter with minimal supervision

· Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills

· Strong customer and client-service skills

· Ability to work under pressure/tight timelines

· Valid Driver’s license with clean abstract over the last 5 years

· Ability to work at heights

· Ability to read construction blue prints and specifications

· Strong technical orientation including knowledge of computers and networking

Physical Demands:

· Spend majority of the day walking, standing, kneeling, crouching, and bending.

· Required to carry equipment weighing from 25 to 50lbs for short distances

Pay: Based upon experience $25.00-$40.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift
